York Filmmaking Society

Welcome!

The University of York Filmmaking Society meets every Monday at 6.30pm at L/047.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Each week, a specific aspect of filmmaking is taught, from lighting to camera work, directing to producing.

In addition, throughout the term numerous small projects go on. They're great chances to get involved in filmmaking and some real hands on experience.

At the end of the academic year, the Society's annual screening "Get Reel" showcases all the films made in the year.

In the meantime, have a look at some of the films made by previous members, upload your own films and meet other society members.
